Baby Driver Review/Ranking Edgar Wright’s Movies — Podcast

When Edgar Wright departed the movie Ant-Man, it afforded him the opportunity to make a movie that he had been planning for years: Baby Driver. It is one of the most critically acclaimed movies of 2017 thus far. In this episode of the the Rogue Auteurs podcast (the last episode for a while), Jake Hampton and Chad Durham review the slick new film and then rank Edgar Wright’s other films (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and The World’s End). What they realized more than anything is what a great filmmaker Wright is. His visual inventiveness and command of tone serve him well across genres.
